Step inside this amazing house of worship for a truly romantic experience of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. A rich tapestry of religious paintings and iconography decorates the walls of this cathedral, whilst ladies in shawls and fur coats shuffle between pedestals, lighting candles before kneeling down to prayer. Tread quietly because in all likelihood you'll be the only tourist in here. St. Volodymyr's was built in the latter half of the 19th Century, and its striking cream and blue exterior is a resplendent example of the 'pseudo-Byzantine style'.
