O'Brien's Irish Pub

O'Brien's is everything you might expect from those worldwide institutions known as 'Irish Pubs'. A wide selection of Irish, German and Slavic beers on tap; a menu which includes Irish breakfast ('Top of the mornin' to yer!') as well as shepherds' pie and fish and chips; plenty of widescreen TVs for watching the big match; a pool room for passing the time; and of course a jovial clientele of middle aged drunks eager to engage you in conversation - whether you want them to or not. If you're new in town and looking to make friends with the Kiev expat community O'Brien's is certainly a good place to start.

"Great craic here. O'briens is a cut above the average irish bar with decent food and crowd, sports screens and even the odd bit of local totty... sorry to my fellow countrymen but the Ukrainian girls sure beat the Irish lasses! Shame their English isn't so hot"
