St. Andrew's Descent is particularly romantic come evening, when Narnia-esque lanterns reflect off the cobblestones and the spires of St. Andrew's Cathedral loom black in front of the night sky. If you want to cap a fairytale walk up Kiev's most touristic street with some fine food and even finer wines, then reserve your spot at Parmesan Trattoria. The ambience is decidedly opulent, almost over the top so, but the dishes are sensational. Needless to say that if you plump for the lobster your bank manager might be calling you in for a 'one-to-one chat' once you return home.
