As you might imagine in a metropolis of three million people there's plenty going on in Kiev. A dynamic city with a dynamic population, the Kyivans like to get out and about and be entertained. Of course the biggest events in Kiev, and Ukraine in general, tend to be the national holidays. Occasions like Kiev Day, Victory Day, Independence Day, Easter and Christmas are celebrated with great fervour, pomp and style by toddlers and grandparents alike.
