Relics Save Pilgrim in Kiev

Often considered a second Jerusalem thanks to it's many churches and the sacred Pechersk Lavra Caves Monastery, the city of Kiev recently witnessed what many are touting as a divine miracle.

A pilgrim queuing up to enter the Caves Monastery this week suddenly fell to the ground and started convulsing in an epileptic fit. The paramedics were called, but as blood poured from the poor man's mouth and he struggled to breath, fellow worshippers lifted him up and carried him closer to the shrine where the holy relics of St. Luke are currently held. After this act the man stopped convulsing, opened his eyes and crossed himself to the amazement of the onlooking crowd.

It seems that the patron saint of doctors has got some healing powers of his own in his bones!
