New Terminal Opens in Kiev International

Kiev's international Kyiv-Boryspil airport has undergone its latest upgrade - the addition of a new terminal which will be the main hub for Ukraine International Airlines. Terminal F is prepared for an average capacity of 900 passengers per hour.

An additional terminal is set to open in approximately one year (September 2011), which will bring up the Kyiv-Boryspil airport's total capacity to over 6000 passengers per hour.

It's not just Ukraine's airports which have undergone an impressive boost - the country's infrastructure as a whole has been receiving a rather large upgrade in preparation for the upcoming EURO football championships. The event will take place in both Ukraine and Poland in 2012.
