Michel Platini, UEFA President, has confirmed Kiev's reconstructed Olympic Stadium as the location of the Euro football championships final in 2012.
Poland's cities, which will be co-hosting the event with Ukraine, had already been confirmed earlier this year as being Wroclaw, Poznan, Warsaw, and Gdansk. However, due to Ukraine's struggle in preparing its potential host cities, the UEFA had delayed their decision until now.
